The incident started after Green and Phoenix Suns center Khaman Maluach got tangled up in the lane during their matchup on Monday. That sparked the entire altercation in the third quarter. Maluach appeared to shake Green off and knock him to the ground early in the period, which left him wide open for a pass in the lane.
Green, clearly upset, jumped up immediately and grabbed Maluach as he was going up for the layup. Green kept going and threw Maluach down to the court.
Though things stopped for a moment after that, but Brooks came running in to confront Green. The two got into it briefly under the basket before they were eventually separated.

Green finished the night with four points and four rebounds. The 36-year-old is in his 15th season in the league this fall.
