Bill Belichick bristles at Jordon Hudson question during press conference

· Yahoo Sports

Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson reportedly broke up late last year according to a bombshell report over the weekend. The relationship ended quietly with Belichick and Hudson remaining friends and business partners. Some questioned whether the report was accurate because of how Hudson had remained a visible presence on the North Carolina Tar Heels sideline this season.

So WRAL’s Brian Murphy asked Belichick about the report during his press conference on Monday. Belichick did not seem amused or interested in answering the question. His initial response was to ask if Murphy worked at a tabloid now before explaining he wasn’t going to talk about it.

Here’s my question to Belichick about @TMZ, others reporting on the status of his relationship with girlfriend Jordon Hudson. And his response. And then we moved onto other questions. https://t.co/J4Z9ejTFij

“I’ll keep my personal comments and relationships to myself if that’s alright with you,” Belichick asked rhetorically.

Since that’s pretty much the tone we’ve grown to know Belichick to have towards the press in general, it’s hard to tell just how annoyed he was to be asked about this, but he certainly doesn’t look amused.

Murphy and WRAL have been reporting about the turmoil at North Carolina that has led to the resignations of general manager Mike Lombardi and defensive coordinator Steve Belichick among other issues.

Despite all the issues, North Carolina is having a much better season on the field in Belichick’s second year on campus. The Tar Heels have already equaled the program’s 2025 win total and last week they took the undefeated No. 1 team in the nation right down to the wire in a nationally televised game.
