The release also noted that Arroyo was moved to injured reserve in a corresponding move.Arroyo’s career has been marred by injuries thus far, with sparks of massive potential in between. He appeared in the first 13 games last year, starting four and catching 15 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown before suffering a season-ending knee injury in Week 14. He also suffered a torn ACL in 2022 that ended his sophomore season in college after just four games. This season, he appeared in all six games, catching one pass for 17 yards. His 36-yard touchdown in the preseason was a good reminder of how dominant he can be on his day.The Seahawks will now roll with a tight end room of AJ Barner, Eric Saubert and Nick Kallerup on the active roster. They have two tight end options on the practice squad, Josiah Deguara and Jackson Acker. We at Seahawks Wire wish Elijah a smooth and full recovery.Follow seahawkswire.usatoday.com and @TheSeahawksWire on X for human analysis of all things Seahawks.
