SEC power rankings after Week 6: There's a gap after No. 1

The SEC had another upset filled weekend with the Kentucky Wildcats beating the LSU Tigers in overtime on a two-point conversion from quarterback Kenny Minchey.

The Oklahoma Sooners stunned the No. 1 Texas Longhorns in college football's biggest upset. Oklahoma struggled to score on offense, but score off a blocked punt and interception return in their huge Red River Rivalry win.

In the SEC's most notable game, Georgia delivered a 20-17 road win over Alabama. Georgia's win over Alabama gives the Bulldogs clear control over the SEC championship race. Georgia is the SEC's last remaining undefeated team and holds a tiebreaker over the Crimson Tide. UGA is 4-0 in SEC play.

South Carolina coach Shane Beamer earned a massive win over Florida to add to the Gators' skid after Florida shocked Ole Miss. Tennessee needed a fourth quarter push to beat Arkansas, but still only has one loss this season. Ole Miss crushed Vanderbilt and looks much better after their bye week.

Missouri earned a 27-6 win over Texas A&M to crush Texas A&M's College Football Playoff hopes. Missouri running back Jamal Roberts had another 200-yard, multi-touchdown game. The Tigers suddenly are an SEC championship dark horse. Auburn and Mississippi State had bye weeks.
