Carli Lloyd is clapping back at trolls for body shaming.
After a social media user posted an image of the pregnant National Soccer Hall of Famer during the USMNT'smatch against Belgium with the caption "Looks like you've been resting really good lately big mama," Lloyd hit back, writing: "I can tell you are a gentleman. Do you always disrespect women? Does it make you feel good hiding behind your keyboard?"

Llyod is due in September
The two-time World Cup champion with the USWNT announced in April that she's expecting her second child, due in September, with husband Brian Hollins. The couple tied the knot in November 2016 and welcomed their first child, daughter Harper, in October 2024.
"Our family is growing, and we couldn’t be more grateful!" Lloyd captioned a slideshow of photos on Instagram, which included a shot of Harper in a sweater that reads "big sister." "We’re soaking in every bit of gratitude, love, and excitement as we prepare to welcome another little miracle into our lives. Being blessed with another baby still feels hard to believe, and our hearts are so full."
Lloyd won the 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women's World Cups alongside the USWNT and was named the FIFA Player of the Year in 2015 and 2016. She also scored game-winning goals to secure gold at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, and won bronze with Team USA at the Tokyo Games in 2021.
