The Tampa Bay Buccaneers saw some encouraging movement on Thursday’s injury report as they continue preparations for Sunday’s matchup against the Green Bay Packers.

Wide receiver Chris Godwin Jr. was a full participant after sitting out Wednesday’s practice with an ankle injury, a significant development for a Buccaneers offense that will be without quarterback Baker Mayfield. Outside linebacker Yaya Diaby also returned to the practice field after missing Wednesday, participating on a limited basis with calf and shoulder injuries.

Running back Bucky Irving remained limited with a glute injury, while defensive lineman Rakeem Nuñez-Roches improved from a non-participant Wednesday to limited Thursday. Linebacker Josiah Trotter also progressed, moving from limited to a full participant.

There were some less encouraging developments for Tampa Bay. Linebacker SirVocea Dennis went from limited Wednesday to not practicing Thursday due to a calf injury. First-round rookie Rueben Bain Jr. remained out with groin and shoulder injuries, while Ko Kieft and Jacob Parrish also did not practice.

Green Bay continues to deal with concerns along both lines. Guard Aaron Banks, center/guard Jacob Monk and defensive tackle Anthony Campbell remained out. Defensive tackle Warren Brinson was downgraded from limited to a non-participant, while Karl Brooks improved to limited participation.

The Buccaneers and Packers will release their final injury reports Friday, including game-status designations for Sunday.
