49ers WR Mike Evans leaves field on cart vs. Cardinals with apparent injury

Mike Evans left Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals with an apparent injury that wasn’t initially clear.
Evans was in clear pain and clutching his right side after running a route in the second quarter. He wasn’t hit on the play, but needed the attention of medical trainers as he walked to the sideline.

Trainers helped him as he walked gingerly on the sideline and he eventually took to one knee, in obvious pain.

On the play before, Evans took a helmet to his left sight on a tackle by Budda Baker. It’s not clear if that hit was related to Evans struggles.
