Moments after the Kansas City Chiefs sealed a 33-30 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Sept. 20, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes took to her Instagram Stories to reveal her immediate — and perhaps NSFW — reactions to the primetime matchup.
“That was a game wow,” Brittany, 31, wrote over a video of the stadium, which featured a sea of Chiefs fans celebrating as the team improved to 2-0.

In a separate Instagram Story, the KC Current owner apologized to pal Dani Austin for having to “hear me scream and say a lot of bad words for several hours.”
Mahomes, making his second start of the year since returning from a torn ACL and LCL in his left knee last December, completed 32 of 47 attempts for 382 yards and three touchdowns, including a 13-yard pass to tight end Travis Kelce in the first half.

It was kicker Harrison Butker who put the game away in overtime after drilling a 40-yard field goal on the Chiefs’ second possession in extra minutes.
Mahomes, who celebrated his 31st birthday on Thursday, Sept. 17, lauded his teammates’ resiliency in his postgame remarks Sunday.

“We fought until the very end and found a way to get a win. That’s what this league is all about,” Mahomes said.
The Chiefs are off to a strong start following a disappointing 6-11 campaign in 2025, when the team failed to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
Before kickoff Sunday, Brittany kissed Mahomes in a sweet pregame scene. The quarterback — who shares daughters Sterling Skye, 5, and Golden Raye, 1, and 3-year-old son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III with Brittany — gave his children a heartfelt shoutout on NBC’s broadcast.

“I wanna say hi to Sterling and Bronze, too. Hello,” Mahomes said during a pregame interview with NBC Sports’ Melissa Stark, who responded, “They’re still awake, I guess.”
It was a star-studded night at Arrowhead, with Kelce’s wife, pop superstar Taylor Swift, also rolling in for her second straight game of the season. The “Opalite” singer rocked a red Chiefs tank top from pal Erin Andrews’ WEAR by Erin Andrews collection, and pointed to her wedding ring after Kelce, 36, scored his first touchdown of the season.
“That’s my husband!” Swift appeared to shout, according to the broadcast.
Swift and Kelce tied the knot in a glamorous New York City ceremony over the summer. They have been together since 2023.
