The New York Giants will host the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sunday Night Football in Week 1, where they will look to start the John Harbaugh era off with a bang. However, it remains unclear if wide receiver Malik Nabers will take the field.
Nabers is working his way back from a torn ACL and meniscus, suffered in Week 4 of last season against the Los Angeles Chargers.

New York will enter the game surprisingly healthy, with Nabers the only player listed on the final injury report. Despite practicing in full this week, the star wideout was given a questionable designation.
Malik Nabers injury update
Nabers was a full participant in practice this past week, including two lengthy and physical practices, followed by a lighter session on Friday. He appeared quick and explosive, but would not commit to playing in Week 1.
"I'll let God tell me. I'll let God tell me, keeping my faith, and he'll let me know and I'll know when it's time," Nabers told reporters. "I've been asking him a long time. We've got a plan. He's got the plan. I'm just following in his footsteps that he wants me to take and lead me in the right direction."
Before practice on Friday, Nabers was seen on the sideline kneeling in prayer.
Will Malik Nabers play vs. Cowboys?
Like Nabers, head coach John Harbaugh was mum on Nabers' status for Week 1. He said the team would prepare for every possible outcome, ultimately leaving the decision up to Nabers himself.
"It's not that unique. I mean, you see, it's just normal NFL stuff; it's normal. It's always individualized, and it is what guys work through stuff all the time. I mean, that's the way it works," Harbaugh said.
It's likely to be a game-time decision for Nabers.
Who would replace Malik Nabers in the lineup?
The Giants signed wide receiver Dalen Cambre from their practice squad to the 53-man roster on Friday, giving them five active receivers. He will pair with Odell Beckham Jr., Malachi Fields, Darnell Mooney, and, potentially, Nabers.
In addition to Cambre, the Giants also elevated wide receiver Braxton Berrios from the practice squad, which was an anticipated move and does not reflect on Nabers' status. The plan has always been to treat Berrios like a member of the 53-man roster, where he will serve as a primary returner.
If Nabers is inactive, both Cambre and Berrios could see time on offense.
