WWE and Netflix officials were always going to come to blows at some point and it feels like the initial seeds are being sewn.
We’ve seen over the years how Vince McMahon and others have had to contend with decisions or chatter from up above when it comes to television networks and it looks like Netflix are no different.

On the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw, The Usos were decimated by Royce Keys and OTM, which included Jey Uso being taken to the floor and having blood drawn on his face.
However, in a bizarre turn of events, Netflix decided to blur out Jey’s face, leaving fans to see what had obviously happened but without the gory details.
And according to reports, that censorship has caused major feelings of discontent among some in WWE.

WWE has always pushed things on live TV and there has been the odd moment which quite rightly needed censoring.
However, in recent years and especially during the Bloodline era, we’ve seen blood countless times and it adds further depth to the stories being told.

“There are those within WWE’s post-production department who feel ‘handcuffed’ at times by the restrictions Netflix has put in place, particularly following the recent censorship on Monday Night Raw,” it was claimed on Fightful.
Of course, we also saw Triple H post the uncensored version via his own social media account.
Quite whether this was a shot at Netflix or simply a way for him to give fans what he knows they want, is open to debate.
With Netflix obviously paying big money for WWE, they do have a lot of say over what goes out. But Triple H has spent years building the product back up to where it is now, and this sort of stuff only serves to cause barriers between key people.
