The Boston Celtics could have a pair of big men in their sights to help fill out their frontcourt rotation according to recent reporting from Stein Line contributors Jake Fischer and Marc Stein. Per the duo, a potential reunion with a former Boston big could be on the table, and a former NBA finals foe another such option.
"It's believed that(former Golden State Warriors center Kevon) Looney is also on Boston's list of center targets, which is likewise known to feature former Celtics big man Robert Williams III," write the Stein Line reporters in a recent edition of their newsletter.

Both are veterans who could help Boston steady the ship on nights where starting center Neemias Queta gets into foul trouble, though both have health concerns to monitor that have put them into a range the Celtics could plausibly afford to sign with their full midlevel exception of about $15 million.
Timelord, for his part, had one of the healthiest campaigns of his NBA career with the Portland Trail Blazers last season, playing 59 games and putting up 6.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game, his recurrent knee issues kind to him for a change.
Looney only played 21 games for the Dubs last season due to knee problems of his own, but has put up career averages of 4.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game.
