The contract comes a day after the Bucks did not tender a qualifying offer on Dieng, who was acquired at the trade deadline. The move allowed Milwaukee to re-sign Dieng on the multi-year deal at a smaller number.
After landing with the Bucks, Dieng was praised as a quick learner. He played in 30 games with Milwaukee, starting 20, and averaged 11.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
Dieng scored a career-high 36 points against the Houston Rockets on April 1.
