The Minnesota Vikings quarterback competition is heating up, and no one is backing down on social media from defending who they think should win the job. Through it all, the coaching staff has remained steadfast in their execution of this quarterback competition and has provided little insight to the quarterback room until recently.

With so many people and players being asked about it, one of the teams leader sadded his two cents on Thursday. All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson spoke to the media regarding his 2025 quarterback and gave what seems like a bit of an optimistic review of him.

Jefferson explained, “He’s definitely gotten a little bit more smarter into reading the different coverages, understanding the different throws that he’s making. Everything doesn’t have to be 100 miles per hour, just some throws you can put a little touch on it and get it to the spot. I feel like that’s one of his most impactful improvements that he has made.”

Jefferson had the worst year of his career from a production standpoint in 2025. He was able to produce and make an impact, but was limited by the quarterback play. No matter who wins the battle, Jefferson will be a key cog in whatever success they can muster.
