It’s that sad time of year when young players from academies all over Europe leave the clubs they’ve grown up at after not being offered (or not agreeing to)  long term senior contracts.

PSG have one of the best academies in the world, and they can’t keep hold of everyone. That means a hell of a lot of talent is being let go at this time of year.

L’Equipe did a quick run down of some of the best and brightest and where they might end up next. Many of them are members of the Parisian U21 team who made it to the UEFA Youth League semi final back in April, meaning they have that added pedigree to impress suitors with.

The report says that Zayon Chtaï-Telamio is wanted by Guimgamp, and also by second tier Portuguese side Torreense, who are celebrating an unlikely cup win.

Then there’s the highly rated Mathis Jangeal, who is wanted by Porto, Braga and Famalicao, all in the Portuguese top flight.

Elijah Ly is wanted by Club Brugges and Villareal. The Belgians are also apparently keen on Samba Coulibaly.

In other news…

Gabriel Moscardo will also be leaving PSG – but it looks like another loan rather than a permanent move at this point.

Ibrahim Mbaye is a star waiting to break out, and he shouldn’t need to leave PSG to do that.
