Two UNC Baseball pitchers named All-Americans

· Yahoo Sports

The North Carolina Tar Heels are back in Omaha for the College World Series, returning for the second time in three years. This year's team got there by sweeping the Chapel Hill Regional as well as beating USC in the super regional, walking it off in Game 3.

UNC's strength has been its pitching staff, which has been one of the best in the country. Not only is UNC's starting staff good, but the bullpen has been fantastic. Now, a few days before they open up their College World Series run, two pitchers have earned All-American honors.

Perfect Game USA has named freshman Caden Glauber as a first-team All-American and starter Jason DeCaro as a third-team All-American.

Glauber has been fantastic this year and also earned the Co-Freshman of the Year honors for his efforts. He had a 2.20 ERA, seventh best in the nation and recorded 10 wins. He is the first pitcher in program history to earn a national freshman of the year award.

For DeCaro, it was another sensational year for UNC's ace. He led the ACC in ERA this past season and delivered a complete game shutout in Game 2 of the Chapel Hill Regional.
