Ex-MP had warned TMC against angst
Jawahar Circar, a Rajya Sabha MP, who quit TMC after the famous RJ Rath incident, had warned of growing anger against TMC in West Bengal. In his resignation letter, submitted in 2024, Circar had slammed the Mamata Government for not handling the ill-fated incident effectively and had said that there is a good amount of anger against the ruling party leaders.

The Mamata Banerjee led TMC leaders are allegedly being attacked in West Bengal. Two important leaders and MPs - Abhishek Banerjee and Kalyan Banerjee were reportedly attacked in the state. One MP and some leaders have already resigned from all posts of the TMC. TMC accusing the BJP behind attack while the BJP vehemently denied this and alleged that this public who were tortured during the TMC 15 year rule and now they are beating TMC leaders.

United Forum of Bank Unions issued a circular outlining ongoing discussions with the government and Chief Labour Commissioner on Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) for senior officers (scale IV and above).
