McGinnis, known by many as "Coach Mac," died in April. He was 74.
McGinnis spent three decades as an NFL coach, including eight seasons as linebackers coach with the Titans from 2004-11. He previously spent nine seasons as linebackers coach with the Chicago Bears, before moving to the Arizona Cardinals from 1996-2003, serving as defensive coordinator and later head coach.
After completing his coaching career in 2016 following four years with the Rams, he replaced former Titans tight end Frank Wycheck as the team's radio color commentator. He worked in that role from 2017-25, spending eight years alongside Mike Keith before partnering Taylor Zarzour in 2025.
"'Coach Mac' represented the best of us. His selflessness, passion for the game, and ability to bring out the best in others truly embodied what it means to be a Tennessee Titan," Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk said in a team release. "From his time on the field as a coach, to the moments he narrated in the radio booth, his contributions to our organization are immeasurable. We are honored to induct him into the Titans Ring of Honor this season."
