Evan Mobley had a promising first half in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks. Unfortunately, Mobley did not get a single shot attempt in the second half.
On Inside the NBA, Charles Barkley was unhappy with how the Cavaliers played. He pointed out how the Cavaliers were not moving the ball enough, which limited Mobley's impact on offense.
Charles Barkley is unhappy with how the Cavaliers utilize Evan Mobley
As one of the biggest stars on the Cavaliers, Mobley is under pressure to perform at a high level. He is not known as the top offensive player on the Cavaliers because of Donovan Mitchell and James Harden.
Unfortunately, Mobley can play well as long as he is being given the opportunities. In the second half, he was barely getting touches, which was enough for him not to even take a single shot attempt.

As an observer and analyst, Barkley was already unhappy with the Cavaliers after the first half. He knows the Cavs can do much better with Mobley, but they are not maximizing his skill set.
"I think they can make their lives easier if they play inside-out. Because you see, Mobley and Allen have a huge advantage. That would free up Donovan and James instead of them going one-on-one, trying to get their own shot," Barkley said at halftime of Game 2 on Inside the NBA.
Unfortunately for the Cavaliers and their fans, Kenny Atkinson's coaching staff is not getting the most from his players. They did not implement one bit of the comments that Barkley made, which will ring true for a long while.
Mobley is a talented player, but he needs opportunities to make a difference because if he is only being impactful on one end, he is not being utilized properly. Barkley knows that, and it seems the Cavs' fans also want to address this particular issue.
