Joshua Jefferson injured in Iowa State win, status vs Kentucky unknown

Joshua Jefferson was the Iowa State Cyclones' leading rebounder (7.6 per game) and second-leading scorer (16.9 per game) in 34 games this season.
But he was injured and played just three minutes during the second-seeded Cyclones' 108-74 win against No. 15 Tennessee State in the NCAA Tournament round of 64.

The Cyclones are scheduled to face the seventh-seeded Kentucky Wildcats in the round of 32. Jefferson's status for the UK game isn't known.
"As for Iowa State … very interested and concerned frankly about the status of Josh Jefferson," CBS/TNT analyst Seth Davis said. "He was (one of) my first-team All-Americans. Obviously (they) didn't miss him today … but you see what Kentucky's able to do in terms of their ability to defend the wing, attack the rim and defend the rim. I hope he's okay, because the Cyclones are gonna need him. Not only for that game but moving forward."
"That kid - you're right - he's one of the 10 best players in the country," Charles Barkley added.
