Silva (11-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) fended off Campbell's (8-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) grappling in Round 1 and floored him with two big right hands and a flurry of strikes against the cage to score the finish at the 0:31 second mark of Round 2 Saturday at The O2 in London.

Silva, a Dana White's Contender Series graduate, rebounded from his decision loss to top contender Kevin Vallejos with his first octagon finish. He is targeting a return in July.
"The plan was to pressure him and break him," Silva said in his post-fight interview with Michael Bisping. "I had predicted I was going to knock him out in the second. He's a good grappler, but grappling isn't fighting. They always say Scousers don't get knocked out. Nothing more to say."
