Jessymaude Drapeau Wins Brodrick Trophy As U SPORTS Player Of The Year

Jessymaude Drapeau is the U Sports women's hockey Player of the Year.

The 25-year-old fifth year forward for Concorda led the nation in scoring this season with 39 points in 24 games. She was the RSEQ Player of the Year, and is expected to take her shot entering the 2026 PWHL Draft.
Also feted in Elmira at the All-Canadian Gala was Queen's first-year foward Jada Wood who was named U Sports Rookie of the Year.
Ottawa Gee-Gees forward Béatrice Bilodeau earned the Marion Hilliard Award for Student-Athlete Community Service, while UBC head coach Graham Thomas was named Fox 40 Coach of the Year.
U Sports Names All-CanadiansAlong with the major award winners, U Sports also recognized their women's hockey First Team and Second Team All-Canadians.
Alongside Drapeau, UBC's Grace Elliott and Queen's Sophie Hudson were named First Team All-Canadians up front. Defenders Jaylyn Morris of British Columbia, and Abigail Mackenzie from Saint Mary's were also recognized, as was St. Thomas netminder Katie Sweeney.

Women's Hockey All-RookiesThe U Sports women's hockey All-Rookie team members were the final group of athletes recognized. Regina netminder Amy Swayze, defenders Angelie Jobin (Concordia) Isa MacPhee (Mount Royal), and forwards Jada Wood (Queen's), Sandrine Chouinard (Bishop's), and Toby Graham (STFX) were the U Sports All-Rookies.
