The Pittsburgh Steelers have just lost the heart and soul of the team's beloved tush push play: Connor Heyward has officially left the Steel City.

On Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Heyward, who spent the past four years as Pittsburgh's tight end/fullback hybrid, was signing a two-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders.

A key special teams contributor and the leading force behind the fan-favorite "Spartan" play, aka "the Pittsburgh Plunge," Heyward is headed for the bright lights of Las Vegas, where the Raiders are in the middle of a massive rebuild.

Connor's older brother, All-Pro defensive tackle Cameron Heyward, signed a one-year extension with the Steelers one day prior, ending their exciting four-year run in Pittsburgh together.
