According to the Spanish outlet Fichajes, PSG's sporting directorate is already designing next season's offensive lineup in light of the possible departure of Gonçalo Ramos. "The Portuguese attacker is drawing strong interest from Atlético Madrid and various Premier League giants for the coming season," the report also noted.
"Given this scenario, the Parisian club has set its sights on Eli Junior Kroupi to provide Luis Enrique with a differential attacking piece," wrote Fichajes' Javier Parra. According to the cited outlet, PSG is seeking a center-forward profile that combines youth, projection, and deep knowledge of the French soccer environment gained through his training.
Kroupi, 19, fits perfectly into that philosophy after having dazzled at Lorient's academy before making a big leap in his career. The striker is having a dream campaign at Bournemouth, demonstrating that he is up to the elite level.
His current statistics are an unbeatable calling card: eight goals in 26 Premier League games. With just over a thousand minutes on the field, his goalscoring efficiency has caught the attention of several European clubs.
"PSG does not want to let this raw diamond escape, who already knows the ins and outs of the French league from his professional beginnings. Luis Enrique has already given the green light to the operation, valuing the versatility and hunger for success that the young marksman exudes," Fichajes explained.
The Parisian club knows that to secure its future, it must make strong bets on talents who already deliver immediate, proven performance. For this reason, PSG is willing to put forward a figure close to $46 million, according to the same report.
It is a significant investment that responds to the need to renew the offensive department with players who understand the associative style of play. Kroupi has an extensive contract with his current club until the summer of 2030, which complicates any attempt to negotiate a lower price.
However, the financial muscle of the French capital team allows them to face this operation with a determination that few clubs can match. Other English league teams are also closely following his steps, but the French sporting project seems to have an emotional competitive advantage.
Returning to his home country to lead the attack of France's most decorated team is an opportunity the striker could hardly refuse. PSG wants to avoid a public auction and intends to close his arrival as soon as possible, before defining Ramos' future.
With Kroupi, the team would gain a reference capable of dropping to the wings and generating spaces for arrivals from the second line. His finishing ability in tight spaces makes him a valuable asset for unlocking matches against defenses that tend to close down.
Despite his young age, the maturity he shows in decision-making on the field is uncharacteristic of a youth player. The Spanish coach appreciates that the player has already overcome the adaptation process to a league as physically demanding as the English one.
