What's in the box?
If you've watched Raw and Smackdown, you probably noticed the massive crate that will open Feb. 28. Good thing it's the same day as a premium live event. Imagine how boring it would be if it was slated to be open on a day they had no shows scheduled. Very lucky it worked out this way. Outside the box (get it? box?) guess: It's Hornswaggle, who will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. I don't see this being a huge surprise, it seems more of a joke. On Friday, Danhausen was the hot prediction online. He would be a very fun surprise.
Elimination Chamber predictions
Here's how we see the matches going on Saturday.
Becky Lynch vs. AJ Lee
This one features two of the best. I don't think this is the last we see of this feud. Becky can make a great feud with anyone, and AJ might be her equal. I think we could see Lynch win this one, maybe by cheating, setting up a rematch at WrestleMania. I'm going with Becky Lynch.
CM Punk vs. Finn Balor
CM Punk can't lose a few weeks before WrestleMania. But I really don't want to see Finn Balor lose either. Think this is the start of Balor becoming a good guy. Perhaps he loses a great match and then Dirty Dominick Mysterio and JD McDonagh turn on him, prompting CM Punk make the save? But CM Punk wins.
Women's Elimination Chamber Match
This match could steal the show and I could make a case for all six ladies to win. It sounds like Tiffany Stratton is the favorite to win, and she'd be fine, but I'm going with Rhea Ripley. She's too good not to be in the main event picture, and her against Jade Cargill would be fun. Prediction: Rhea Ripley
Men's Elimination Chamber Match
I think Cody Rhodes is going to win, but there are five other men in this match I'd much rather see leave victorious. Trick Williams and Je'Von Evans are two stars in the making. Let's not wait, let's make them. So either would be perfect to bring new blood to the main event scene. LA Knight deserves it. He's been ready to be a top guy for a long time, he just needs the kick in the butt to get there. Winning here would do that. I was happy for Jey Uso, but Logan Paul replaces him after Uso was attacked on Smackdown. For a part timer, Logan Paul is on a lot. Let's stop calling him a part timer and agree that he's a huge part of the show. And the guy I really want to see win is Randy Orton. But we'll go with Cody Rhodes.
