Jaguars free agency preview: Free agent OTs and what's the need?

If the Jacksonville Jaguars choose to address the offensive tackle position in free agency, who are the best available free agent options for them?

While there is no such thing as having too much depth along the offensive line, this isn't a position that is a top priority for GM James Gladstone.

Returning in 2026 are the Jaguars' end of season starters at left and right tackle, Cole Van Lanen and Anton Harrison, along with -- as of now -- Walker Little to bolster the depth. Chuma Edoga can step in at tackle as well.

Even from a longer-term perspective, Van Lanen just signed an extension, while Harrison is a candidate to have his fifth-year option for the 2027 season picked up and, from there, an extension down the road is possible as well.

Given the Jaguars' somewhat limited spending power currently, if Gladstone does address offensive tackle this offseason, it feels like a need that will be tackled in the draft, where Jacksonville has 11 picks.

However, if Gladstone does explore free agency at this position, I wouldn't anticipate it being a big signing that breaks the bank. There are higher priority needs for the Jaguars to devote their cap space towards.

With help from Pro Football Focus' free agency big board, here are the top available players at offensive tackle.
