· Yahoo Sports
Fans can catch the Boston College Eagles facing the Florida State Seminoles on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Viewers in the region will find the match on a local broadcast channel, while others can stream the action through the official online provider listed by Yahoo Sports. This matchup matters because Florida State is trying to end a three-year road losing streak while Boston College looks to build momentum.
The context for this game is wild. Florida State is playing without head coach Mike Norvell, who was fired just last weekend. A new staff is now running the show for the Seminoles. Yahoo Sports reports that Florida State has not won a road game in 1,077 days. That is a long time to go without a win away from home. The team is technically favored, but the streak is a massive hurdle. Boston College is not a top-ranked program, yet the pressure is on Florida State to prove they can win outside Tallahassee.

Who Is Available to Play
Injury reports have changed quickly leading up to Saturday. Florida State made some key upgrades to their availability list. Cornerback Ja’Bril Rawls and linebacker Caleb LaVallee have been designated as available. They were previously probable, meaning they were likely to play, but now they are cleared. Since Wisner is the sole running back on the roster with real college experience, this is good news for Florida State. Without him, true freshman Amari Thomas would have to carry the load.
The list of players out for Florida State remains long. Yahoo Sports lists several names who will not play. Quarterback and running back Ousmane Kromah is out for the season. Running back Samuel Singleton Jr. is also out. Wide receiver Duce Robinson, defensive linemen Kevin Wynn and Deante McCray, and linebackers Blake Nichelson, Noah LaVallee, Izayia Williams, and Daylen Green are all ruled out. Defensive backs Quindarrius Jones, Karson Hobbs, Jamari Howard, and kicker Conor McAneney are also missing from the lineup. Only DB K.J. Kirkland remains on the questionable list for the Seminoles.
Boston College has its own set of absences. The Eagles are without running backs Evan Dickens and Sedric Addison. Wide receiver Reed Swanson is out. Tight end Danny Edgehille was downgraded from questionable to out. Offensive linemen Trevon Humphrey and Michael Crounse will not play. Defensive lineman Onye Nwosisi, linebacker Justin Medlock, and defensive back Isaiah Farris are also listed as out. These losses thin the depth for both sides, making every healthy player vital for the final score.
This contest is more than just a regular-season game. It is a test of leadership for the new Florida State staff. The team is in a new chapter without their former coach. The staff must get players to buy in quickly. If the Seminoles lose again, the pressure on the new hires will grow. If they win, they prove the program can survive a coaching change. Boston College knows this. They see a team that is favored but vulnerable.
The statistics show why this is a tough spot for Florida State. They have lost on the road for nearly three years. Their most recent away win occurred before the current streak began. The new staff has to fix a mindset that has failed in away games for so long. Boston College has the chance to be the team that breaks the streak. The Eagles are not expected to win, but they have the advantage of a familiar situation. They do not have the chaos of a coaching change.
Yahoo Sports notes that the Seminoles are monitoring injuries closely. The updates on Rawls, LaVallee, Wisner, and Brooks came just before the game. These players were limited in previous weeks. Rawls was hurt early in the loss to Clemson. His return helps the defense. Wisner is the key to the running game. If he plays, Florida State has a proven option. If he sits, the freshman Thomas must step up. The outcome of the game might depend on whether these key players can perform under pressure.

Preparation for the game started early in the week. Florida State made their final preparations with less than 24 hours until kickoff.
