For Nebraska, it was the third oncsecutive Big Ten loss despite carrying a lead into the fourth quarter.

For Washington, it marked its second-straight Big Ten win and placed it one victory away from being bowl game eligible.
The Huskies went 58 minutes, 30 seconds without scoring a touchdown but the defense held the Cornhuskers offense to just seven points in the same span.
Before Washington found the end zone, its only points came via a 50-yard field goal from kicker Tyler Robles with 41 seconds left in the first half.
Nebraska's only points before the Huskies' trip to paydirt was a 24-yard connection from senior quarterback Anthony Colandrea to junior tight end Carter Nelson with 1:40 left in the first quarter.
Outside of the touchdown connection, Washington's defense made sure that the opposing senior signal-caller was unable to build consistency or momentum.
Colandrea had four interceptions on the season entering Saturday and hadn't played a game where he threw more than one. He finished Saturday's game 24-for-44 for 255 yards, the aforementioned touchdown and three interceptions.
The UW defense finished the game with two sacks, four tackles for loss and eight passes defended.
Even when the Cornhuskers were able to move the ball, it didn't result in points outside of the first-quarter score. Nebraska missed a 36-yard field goal attempt with 10:01 left in the game.
With the defense having done its job, the final quarter and the fate of the game fell on the offense, and a bold but fruitful decision by head coach Jedd Fisch provided the spark the team needed.
Third-year quarterback Elijah Brown made his second-straight start in place for fellow-third-year Demond Williams Jr. The latter of the two signal-callers missed the team's win against the Purdue Boilermakers on Oct. 16 with a fractured rib he suffered in a loss against the Iowa Hawkeyes on Oct. 9.
Williams wasn't available for the game against Purdue, but was against the Huskers. Entering the fourth quarter, Brown was 19-for-30 for 136 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions.
Fisch opted to sub in Williams for the fourth quarter.
Williams got two drives for UW. The first resulted in a punt. The second resulted in the go-ahead touchdown.
Williams found second-year wide receiver Chris Lawson on the sideline on fourth-and-18, resulting in a first down. On second-and-15, Williams picked up a corner blitz and found Lawson again. The sophomore wideout made a move and ran to the end zone for a 25-yard score, which gave the Huskies a 10-7 lead with 1:30 left in the game.

Williams finished the game 7-for-13 for 99 yards and a touchdown and ran four times for 28 yards, including a 17-yard scramble on third-and-15 on the touchdown drive. His 28 yards led the team in rushing.
Lawson finished the game with 12 receptions for 155 yards and a touchdown, all game and career-highs.
Down three and with a chance to respond, Colandrea threw his third and final pick to fourth-year Washington safety Alex McLaughlin, who took it 48 yards to the house to bolster UW's lead to 17-7 with 1:15 left in the game.

The Cornhuskers made a 42-yard field goal the next drive to get within a touchdown, but Lawson added to his stellar night and recovered the ensuing onside kick to clinch the 17-10 win for the visitors.
The win puts the Huskies at 5-3 overall and 2-3 in Big Ten play. They'll return home for a game against the Penn State Nittany Lions at 12:30 p.m. PT on Nov. 7 at Husky Stadium in Seattle.
