Christian Watson taken to hospital for chest injury
· Yahoo Sports
Green Bay Packers receiver Christian Watson was able to walk off the field under his own power when he exited the game on Thursday Night Football against the Carolina Panthers, but it doesn’t look like he’ll return to the game. The Packers officially ruled him out with a chest injury, but the game broadcast said Watson is being taken to a local hospital as a precaution. The broadcast also showed him getting into the ambulance.

Watson had been one of Green Bay’s big-play threats this year through the air, helping make up for their lack of a ground game.
Because of two other injuries to the slot position (Jayden Reed and Skyy Moore) earlier this season, the Packers are now down to Matthew Golden, Savion Williams, Bo Melton, J. Michael Sturdivant and Coleman Owen at the receiver position for the remainder of the game.
Green Bay also only has two tight ends on the field currently, as tight end Josh Whyle has exited the match with a concussion and Jonnu Smith was a healthy scratch on Thursday.
We’ll keep you updated on any developments in Watson’s injury status.
