And she is scheduled to run at the state meet this weekend in Wisconsin Rapids.
Hoage finished second as a sophomore in the Division 2 girls 1,600 meter run before capturing a state track championship in the 800 last June at UW-La Crosse.
Hoage finished in a time of 2 minutes, 12.92 seconds in the 800, edging freshman Isla Odgers of Mount Horeb by .07 of a second.
The Leader-Telegram recently caught up with Hoage, the High School Athlete of the Week, to learn a little more about her.
