At UFC 333, Yakhyaev (11-0 MMA, 4-0) made quick work of light heavyweight staple Nikita Krylov and finished the fight with strikes at 2:38 of Round 1. The event took place at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi and streamed on Paramount+.
Yakhayaev nearly submitted Krylov (31-13 MMA, 12-11 UFC) with a D'Arce choke. However, when Krylov popped his head out, Yakhayaev drilled him with a big knee and two punches that sealed the deal by TKO instead.

Yakhayaev, 25, continues his reign of terror up the light heavyweight ladder, moving to 4-0 with four first-round knockouts or TKOs. He has still yet to pass the three-minute mark in any UFC bout.
Krylov, 34, drops to 1-4 in his most recent five fights. All four of the losses in that stretch came by knockout or TKO.
