Oct. 18—The look of frustration on Cincinnati guard Tylen Riley's face was clear late in Saturday's exhibition game against Illinois.

Andrej Stojakovic had just scored — again — for the Illini. Another two points in the 6-foot-7 guard's continued attacks on the rim of what would eventually be a team-high 24 in Illinois 105-96 victory.

There was little Riley or any of his Bearcats teammates could do to slow down Stojakovic. The veteran Illini guard shot 8 of 15 from the field and knocked down all eight of his free throw attempts.

"He's a nightmare," Cincinnati coach Jerrod Calhoun said. "That kid is really, really good. I thought Stojakovic, every time we cut him off, we couldn't get a trap from behind, and he was just living at the rim. He did a great job."

Stojakovic scored 16 of his team-high 24 points in the first half. In just 15 minutes on the court, no less.

"I wouldn't even call it taking over," he said. "It was just the flow of the game."
