However, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel backup quarterback Tramell Jones Jr. will make his first career start.

In the pregame warmups, Philo was seen throwing passes, while Brown and Stockton also participated. However, none of the trio had yet to been seen in pads.

Quarterback Aaron Philo took a hit on an 8-yard scramble with 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter and then left the field for one snap. He returned one play later but never came back for the rest of the game, as Jones finished the game.

This season, Philo has thrown for nine touchdowns, three interceptions and 1,341 yards while completing 70% of his passes. He has also run for 104 yards and three scores.

Brown has been questionable for three straight weeks as he continues to deal with a knee injury he sustained against Ole Miss. Despite playing last week against South Carolina, Stockton was listed as questionable.

Running back Duke Clark also suffered an ankle injury against South Carolina and is ruled out.

Texas ruled out two players which were wide receiver Kaliq Lockett and offensive lineman Jaydon Chatman.

This is a developing story.
