Blake Snell started the game for the Dodgers and earned a loss following a big seventh inning for the opposing Milwaukee Brewers, during which he allowed back-to-back home runs. Blake Snell was responsible for four of the Brewers’ six runs in the 6-2 loss, after which Haeley Snell posted a direct message she received during the game.
“It’s simple: tell that son of a b— to back off before October 20th,” the message, sent by user @fernan0177 (Kavidies Fernan) read. “Otherwise, I’ll cut off your fingers, one by one. I don’t care about spending 40k to track you down, you b—. He has until October 20th. Consider yourself warned.”
The user is clearly referring to Blake Snell in the message, which Haeley Snell confirmed with the caption on her story.
“Tell me you lost a sports bet without telling me you lost a sports bet,” she wrote.
Fernan didn’t make clear the significance of Oct. 20, but that day follows what would be NLCS Game 7 if the Dodgers manage to come back and force a winner-takes-all matchup.

Outside of a rough seventh inning, Snell had a strong performance against the Brewers.
He allowed a home run on the first pitch of the game to left fielder Jackson Chourio, but looked fantastic through the sixth inning after that. Other than the three home runs, Snell allowed just one hit on the day, and struck out nine batters before his exit in the seventh.
The Dodgers had a 2-1 lead heading into the seventh inning, but the Dodgers’ general lack of offense throughout the postseason caught up with them. Other than Smith’s clutch knock, the Dodgers left eight runners stranded and failed to record a hit in five at-bats with runners in scoring position.
Snell isn’t the only player responsible for the Dodgers’ Game 3 loss, but even if he were, sending threats to players or their family members is beyond unacceptable.
