Warriors waive preseason standout, sign former Grizzlies forward
· Yahoo Sports
The Golden State Warriors announced more roster moves Sunday, as the team decided to part ways with Exhibit 10 signee and former Dallas Mavericks point guard Miles Kelly. This may come as a surprise to some Warriors supporters, as Kelly led Golden State in scoring during their preseason matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers, finishing with 24 points on 6-for-11 shooting from 3-point range to go along with seven rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block. Over three preseason contests, Kelly held averages of 10.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 13.8 minutes per game.
In a subsequent move, the team signed former Memphis Grizzlies forward Tyler Burton to an Exhibit 10 contract. In 12 games for the Grizzlies last season, Burton averaged double-digit scoring numbers, tallying 10.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, one assist, 0.9 steals and 0.3 blocks. Burton is now Golden State's third Exhibit 10 signee currently rostered, joining Dalen Terry and Alex Toohey.
