Las Vegas put on a valiant effort despite allowing Patrick Mahomes and Kenneth Walker III to dictate the tempo. The Raiders struggled to put the clamps on the Chiefs’ offense, which generated six touchdowns, two each from Mahomes, Walker, and Tyquan Thornton.

After the game, Maxx Crosbyacknowledged their shortcomings, but he remained optimistic amid their encouraging start.

“We know what we’re capable of. I think we’re figuring it out more and more. It’s a tough loss. We have to bounce back. We have to figure out how to get better, how to improve from it. It’s the same mindset for all of us, whether it’s a win or loss: How can we get better? How can we bounce back and get more wins?” said Crosby in a video posted by Vegas Sports Today.

The two-time All-Pro, who had three tackles and five quarterback hits, pinpointed their mistakes against the Chiefs and emphasized their belief in the work they put in, including “the little things.”

“We’re getting a lot better. Today wasn’t our best. I know that. We didn’t take the ball away enough. We didn’t get crucial stops. Too many big explosives, incredible moments. I think we did a lot of good things as well, but we know we can do better. It’s all about us,” added Crosby.

On offense, Las Vegas struggled on the ground, tallying just 72 rushing yards.

Kirk Cousins was less efficient than usual, going 31-of-52 for 365 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.

The Raiders will visit the New England Patriots in Week 5.
