Four-star Ohio State commit Wyatt Smith played the hero in No. 1 St. Thomas Aquinas' thrilling 21-20 win over Madonna-Chaminade.

With the game on the line, Madonna-Chaminade attempted a 33-yard go-ahead field goal in the final minute, but Smith came up with the block to secure the Raiders' victory and avoid the upset.
"This is the hardest I have to come off the ball," Smith told USA TODAY Sports reporter Nick Wilson, describing his mindset heading into the kick. "You've got to burn the ships, there's no coming back from that."
