Commanders' QB Jayden Daniels out vs. Colts; Marcus Mariota gets start
· Yahoo Sports
Washington Commanders' quarterback Jayden Daniels has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts, according to head coach Dan Quinn.

Daniels suffered a dislocated elbow in the Commanders' Week 2 loss to Dallas. He did not play last week against Seattle and had been limited in practices this week.
That means that Marcus Mariota will again get the start. Mariota helped lead the Commanders to victory last week over the defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks.

In that contest, Mariota completed 19-of-31 passes for 183 yards with three passing touchdowns.
This is Mariota's third season with Washington. The former second overall pick has made 83 starts over his 12 NFL seasons, completing 63% of his passes with 111 touchdowns to 62 interceptions.
"Marcus Mariota being a veteran guy, he goes out and performs," said Shane Steichen this week, via Horseshoe Huddle. "Obviously, had a big win against Seattle. Makes a lot of plays with his legs."
