Chase Jervis rushed for three touchdowns and threw for two more as host Oneonta won its homecoming game at Lloyd F. Baker Field, beating Chenango Valley, 50-14, on Friday, Sept. 25, in a Section IV Class C Division IV game.

The Yellowjackets built a 20-0 lead after one quarter as Jervis rushed for a 31-yard score. He then threw two touchdown passes to his brother, Trey Jervis, the second one for a 50-yard score.
Harrison Schuster scored for CV on a 16-yard run in the second quarter, to make it 20-6 at halftime.
However, Oneonta scored four-straight touchdowns to make it 50-6. In addition to two rushing scores from Jervis, Oneonta scored on a two-yard run from Nakye Fancy and a one-yard run by Amari Champen.
Jervis was 13-for-19 passing for 217 yards. He also rushed for 147 yards on 15 carries.
Trey Jervis caught six passes for 127 yards. He also led the team in tackles with seven.
The Yellowjacket defense got an interception from Chase Jervis and a fumble recovery from Mason Hannan.
Oneonta (3-1, 2-0) plays a non-division game at Susquehanna Valley on Saturday, Oct. 3.
Cooperstown 33, Newfield 6
Joey DeSanno rushed for two touchdowns as host Cooperstown won a non-league game for homecoming at Paul Lambert Field on Saturday, Sept. 26.
Caden Laymon also rushed for a touchdown for the Hawkeyes, which led at halftime, 20-0.
Saywer McManus threw for 57 yards, including a 39-yard touchdown to Sawyer Bridger.
Cooperstown (4-0, 0-0) will play a division game at West Canada Valley on Friday, Oct. 2.
