He had been to campus in the past, but this gameday visit allowed him a different experience than his previous trips.

“Game day there is something special that I never realized until now,” Sheridan said. “I’m excited about Pitt and I’m excited about the culture Coach Narduzzi has built there.”
Pitt has had a good history of quarterback development and Sheridan sees a potential fit in the way they play. To date, Sheridan has been extremely efficient this season. He is completing over 80 percent of his passes and has thrown no interceptions.
“Watching their offense, which throws the ball 70 percent of the time, is extremely cerebral and quarterback driven: RPOs , lots of reads, attacking the middle of the field and utilizing big tight ends. Those are things that are all at the top of my skill set as a quarterback. The more I watch Pitt, the more I can see myself playing there.”
Pitt was an earlier offer for Sheridan. They have steadily recruited him. However, the contact has increased of late, and as the 2028 quarterback recruiting picture continues to develop nationally, the Panthers have made their interest in him clear.
“My relationship with multiple coaches and admin has grown a lot, I’d say over the last month, month and a half,” Sheridan said. “I communicate multiple times a week with them. The biggest thing for me is that they cut up my game films every week and really know what I’m doing on a week to week basis. I look forward to continuing the process with Pitt, and I also can see myself playing there in the future.”
Sheridan is a three-star prospect per Rivals. He helped his team win a state title as a sophomore and has them undefeated thus far as a junior. He has been a varsity starter since his freshman season.
Kentucky and Rutgers are two schools he visited this season. He is working on a date to get to Michigan also.
