Top defensive players in FSU's loss to Alabama

Things started off great defensively for Florida State vs. the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday. They forced punts on the first two drives and then only gave up field goals on the next two as they built a 21-6 lead.

Everything went downhill for Tony White’s unit after that. Alabama would score on its next seven possessions as well, which included six touchdowns as they roared back and beat FSU 50-36. Once again, the Seminoles' defense gave up nearly 600 yards of offense, and 247 of those yards were on the ground.
It was a pathetic showing overall. With that said, here are three players on defense that had good games for Florida State.
CJ Richard Jr.
The transfer from Illinois State had his first big game as a Seminole. He led the team with 12 total tackles, and seven of them were of the solo variety. Richard has the talent to play cornerback or safety, but the latter is where he's been asked to play at FSU. He's worked his way to being a starter for Tony White.
Ja'Bril Rawls
Cornerback Ja'Bril Rawls had arguably his best game of the season so far with eight tackles (seven solo), one sack, and one pass breakup. This is the second straight game where he's played some pretty good ball, and the Seminoles will need more of that going forward if they want to turn their season around.
Chris Jones
It's becoming an automatic thing to include Jones on these lists. He went down briefly with an injury early, but he was flying around from sideline-to-sideline and making plays in space. Jones registered six total tackles, three of them being solo, and he recorded 1.5 tackles for loss. He keeps showing what a great transfer portal addition he is.
