Michigan rises in US LBM Coaches Poll after blowout win over UTEP

Michigan football wasn't exactly awe-inspiring in the first half against UTEP, but in the second half, the Wolverines pounced all over the Miners, turning a 17-14 halftime lead to a 52-17 drubbing.

The latest US LBM Coaches Poll is out, and Michigan football moved up from 19th to 18th. Up next, it will face No. 17 Iowa before also hosting No. 14 Penn State, No. 4 Indiana, and then traveling to face No. 16 Oregon and No. 7 Ohio State.
Michigan has one win against a ranked opponent in No. 24 Oklahoma.
