Should Emery be using Villa's new signings more?

Unai Emery can be trusted to solve Aston Villa's problems this season, despite not fully utilising his new signings, believes former Premier League striker Chris Sutton.

Villa made 10 signings in a summer of upheaval but Emery has only handed starts to three of them - goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka and striker Nicolas Jackson.
"It's a difficult one because it's sticking to what he knows and he trusts and he clearly doesn't have the trust with enough of the new signings right now," Sutton told BBC Radio 5 Live's Monday Night Club.
"He's sticking to what he knows and not giving these newbies an opportunity which, probably, they feel that they warrant. I get it.
"But the biggest issue with Villa is, there's always been change since Emery's reign started, he's done such a good job and you can't not trust him. But it's just the amount of key players in which they've sold; they were never, ever, ever going to replace them. These were players - Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins, Ezri Konsa and Emi Martinez - crucial, big-game players and they were never going to replace them.
"I don't think there's a more principled manager in the Premier League than Unai Emery and the way he wants his teams to play and that's where he'll be saying it takes time.
"But how can you not trust a guy who was seventh, fourth, sixth and fourth [in the Premier League table] - you can't doubt him. So it will be another work in progress and it will be hard to finish in the top six with the players they've lost."
What do you think about Sutton's comments? Do you think Villa's summer signings should be getting more minutes or is Emery taking the right approach?
