It's pretty hard to make a case that LeBron James isn't one of the most talented stars in the NBA. He's beyond legendary at this point. He's built a massive resume of records, such as 22 All-Star selections and 21 All-NBA selections. He's also one of only three players in NBA history to average at least 25 points, seven rebounds and seven assists over the course of his lengthy career.

Former NBA star Olden Polynice agrees that James is legendary. He has tons of respect for the player. But, he actually thinks he could have done better.
Olden Polynice believes LeBron James underachieved
Speaking on SiriusXM NBA Radio, as shared by NBA Central on X, Polynice got real about James. In a good way, though.
"I love LeBron. I really do. I think he's one of the greatest ever. Ever," he said on the show. "What he's doing right now, we've never seen before, and I won't even get into the off the court. He is by himself over there."
He added, "But at the same time, I can still be critical of him on something, one in particular. I thought LeBron should have averaged a triple-double well before Russell Westbrook. That's my personal opinion because he's big, strong and everything else. He's the most talented guy we've seen in a long time."
From there, the former NBA star said, "I still believe, believe it or not, this is going to be the weirdest thing I've uttered: I believe LeBron James underachieved."
While that may sound wild and crazy, there's a case to be made that James is so talented, he could have done even better. Either way, he's an icon.
