Mississippi State football OL coach Phil Loadholt suspended one game for NCAA violation

STARKVILLE — Mississippi State offensive line coach Phil Loadholt is serving a one-game suspension for the season opener against Louisiana-Monroe on Sept. 5, a program spokesperson confirmed to the Clarion Ledger.
The spokesperson did not say why Loadholt was suspended other than it was issued by the NCAA.“It was a secondary violation and it’s fully resolved through the standard NCAA procedures and he’ll be back on the sideline next week," the spokesperson said in a statement to the Clarion Ledger.
