CARF Organises Blood Donation Camp At CSMT Railway Station

Cancer Aid & Research Foundation (CARF), in association with J. J. Hospital Blood Bank, Mumbai, organised a blood donation camp at CSMT Railway Station on August 25, 2026, to promote voluntary blood donation and support patients in need.

Held from 10 am to 5 pm under the message “One Donation. Three Lives.”, the initiative sought to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and encourage eligible citizens to participate.

CARF said blood is urgently required for cancer patients, accident victims, patients undergoing surgeries and those suffering from various serious illnesses. The camp aimed to encourage railway commuters, students, working professionals and other citizens to donate blood and help save lives.

The blood donation drive was conducted under the guidance and supervision of the medical team from J. J. Hospital Blood Bank, Mumbai, to ensure a safe and proper donation process.

Volunteers from Bhavan’s College also supported the initiative by assisting with donor coordination, awareness activities and event management.

Through the initiative, CARF sought to spread the message “Donate Blood. Save Lives.” and encourage more people to take up voluntary blood donation.
