Insidious: Out of the Further has witnessed a sharp decline in its India box office earnings on Day 4. The supernatural horror film, which released on August 21, collected an estimated net Rs 90 lakh across 3,145 shows on its fourth day, compared with Rs 3.35 crore on the previous day.

According to Sacnilk, The film has so far recorded a total India gross collection of Rs 12.52 crore, while its India net collection stands at Rs 10.50 crore. On Day 4, the English version contributed Rs 40 lakh, followed by Hindi at Rs 35 lakh. The Telugu version added Rs 10 lakh, while Tamil contributed Rs 5 lakh.
Despite being part of the popular Insidious franchise, the film is struggling to maintain momentum at the Indian box office. The Day 4 drop is particularly significant, with collections falling below the Rs 1 crore mark.

Given the film's reported production budget of $18 million, approximately Rs 150.30 crore, its current box office performance is poor.

The Free Press Journal reviewer gave the film 2.5 stars out of 5 and said, "Director Jacob Chase is at his best when he trusts the image rather than the mythology. The film is less successful when its spectral imagery becomes overexposed. Amelia Eve gives the film its emotional centre. Maisie Richardson-Sellers brings energy to the supernatural proceedings, while Lin Shaye's Elise remains an enjoyable reminder that death has never been much of a career obstacle in this franchise."
