Cleveland Guardians Announce Last-Minute Chase DeLauter Decision Before Angels Game

The Cleveland Guardians are opening up a new series in MLB this week against the Los Angeles Angels. Currently, with a 65-66 record, the Guardians hold a spot in the AL Wild Card standings and are in 2nd place in the AL Central, just behind the Chicago White Sox.

Before the Angels series opener on Monday, the Guardians announced a last-minute Chase Delauter decision.

Per the lineup reports, Chase DeLauter has been scratched on Monday evening, just minutes before the Angels game began.
@UnderdogMLB hit the news quickly and revealed the updated Guardians lineup:

Guardians reporter Tim Stebbins noted that it’s a hamstring issue for DeLauter: “Chase DeLauter has been scratched with left hamstring tightness. Same issue that cropped up last homestand”Updated Guardians 8/24
