Miami Dolphins rookie linebacker Trey Moore sustained a left leg injury in the first quarter of the team’s Preseason Week 2 game against the New York Giants. During New York’s first possession, Moore pressured quarterback Jameis Winston, jumping to try to block the pass at the last second. He landed awkwardly after the leap, immediately grabbing at his left leg as the crumpled to the turf.

Trainers came out to look at Miami’s 2026 fourth-round pick, examining his lower left leg. They eventually assisted him off the field, but Moore was clearly still in pain and could not put any weight on the leg.
