The Carolina Panthers roster may be strongest at the game's most difficult position—cornerback.
Two-time Pro Bowler Jaycee Horn has stayed relatively healthy over the past two seasons, and is showing why he was worth a top-10 pick back in 2021. Fellow starter Mike Jackson is also making his presence known after notching a league-leading 19 passes defensed in 2025.

According to one observer, the Panthers may have themselves a future stud in 2026 fourth-round pick Will Lee III. NFL Network national reporter Cameron Wolfe named Lee as one of his three standout defensive rookies he's witnessed during training camp . . .

Lee had a pretty impressive debut in the Hall of Fame Game last Thursday night, where he posted four tackles in the 33-30 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Save for a 35-yard reception from wideout Jalen Brooks, Lee held his own—posting one pass breakup and earning a decent 67.2 grade in coverage from Pro Football Focus.
Another sharp performance against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday could help solidify Lee as the next man up behind the outside duo of Horn and Jackson.
