General Manager of ECR inspects Patna-Ara rail section, reviews station redevelopment

East Central Railway (ECR) General Manager Chhatrasal Singh on Monday conducted a window-trailing inspection of the Patna-Ara rail section and reviewed the progress of redevelopment work at Ara Junction.

During the inspection, Singh examined railway tracks, bridges and other infrastructure along the section. Expressing satisfaction over the maintenance of the tracks, he directed officials to take all necessary measures to ensure safe train operations.

At Ara Junction, the General Manager inspected ongoing construction work being carried out under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and directed officials to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining high quality standards.

The redeveloped station building will have an attractive design and provide upgraded and modern passenger amenities, ECR said.

Singh also inspected and inaugurated the newly constructed sick line shed at the Ara Coaching Depot.

He also inaugurated the RPF barrack-cum-post at Ara and a health centre in the Ara railway colony for the welfare of railway employees.

Danapur Divisional Railway Manager Vinod Kumar and other officials from the ECR headquarters and the division were present during the inspection.
